as of now JB is either 29 or 39 on the amazon rankings list ahead of:

linkin park, norah jones, fergie, carrie underpants, etc.

And who ever wrote this on the product description of "Sloe Gin" can write well and tells it like it is:  "Renowned for this fluid phrasing and post-modern fusion of traditional roots blues with rock and roll guts, Bonamassa. . ."  It's perfect except for the misspelling of "his" as "this."

I don't know whether this was part of the press release or not, but kudos to whoever hit the nail on the head.

And #1 on the Amazon Hot New Blues Releases.

This one, I predict is going to put Joe's career into the stratosphere. Congrats Joe, you certainly way more than deserve this.

I just placed my order for several of the CDs and got the following info:

Shipping estimate for these items:  August 27, 2007
Delivery estimate:  September 4, 2007 - September 10, 2007

Why aren't pre-orders shipped out in time to RECEIVE them on the release date?  These aren't even scheduled to ship until a week AFTER the release date.  This is ridiculous.  Looks like I'll have to go out and buy another one at the store on the 21st so I will be familiar with the songs before seeing Joe on the 29th.

Tick, tock, tick, tock.............this is taking forever. "Richmond" is beautiful. Can't wait to hear it all. Just the teaser brings tears to my eyes. Joe, this is your best, this is you, this is the CD I've waited for.........#1 in my vast collection of live and studio Joe Bonamassa CD's.I thank you very much in advance for this one.
