I dunno, I guess it was the cowboy hat. But I've got to admit, there is something inherently funny about using the words Anthony Gomes and brazillian in the same sentence lol

I loved it.  I got it and he does remind me of him.  Maybe if they ever need a substitute wink

But one thing I noticed that I liked.  Even though he is Power Metal, he sings and doesn't always scream when he uses his power.

I assumed it was the hat Stu. RC, that dude's got about 30 lbs. on Anthony, but I noticed he wasn't a shrieker either. The guy would sound good fronting a rock band.

I haven't seen him in a while and I like to be as slim as either one of them.  He has a new album out, but isn't touring this way.  I don't know if he even wears the hat anymore, but I always liked his fashion sense.  It was always neat to see what he would be wearing.  Hope he comes around again smile

Have been a fan of Anthony's (more so, in the early days), since Blues in Technicolor.  Sadly, Anthony went off on some tangents that weren't so much fun (for me, anyway).

But Up 2 Zero seems to be headed back in the blues-rock direction.  Haven't picked it up yet, but it's on my "wish list".

And I got a chuckle from the video link.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

It's my understanding that mayor KJ announced that the Kings were staying in Sacto. I've heard a few rumors through Anthony's new bass player, Scot Sutherland, late of the Tommy Castro Band, that there may be some West Coast dates in the fall. Still waiting for some confirmation. Scot made a lot of friends and fans out here when he was with Tommy.
