The way the copyright policy reads, Joe and Premier do have rights over the images, but the photographer still maintains the creative copyright. It's rather complicated, but the simple fact is - we don't own Joe's image rights, but we do own rights to our photos as creative product.
Hard to explain all the technicalities of how it all works, but my resident attorney at BC took a look at it for me a and that's what she's come up with. Again, this is one attorney's view of the situation.
The big thing to remember is that none of us should be looking to make money off of photos we take or recordings we make of the Joe Bonamassa Band. As long as no one is doing that, we're all okay. And websites looking to use images we've taken should, out of professional courtesy, ask the photographer's permission and attribute the images accordingly.
