Hmm, interesting. Thought with all the note bending it was Roy Buchanan in there somewhere, but that isn't his tone or sound is it really.

Sounds more recent somehow. Familiar style in a way but I can't place it.

It's got a sort of Albert King-meets-Buddy-Guy vibe but for the life of me I can't figure it out...and I want to buy a copy of whatever it is!

Sounds like Roy, but not quite, which brings Danny Gatton to mind. Maybe if Joe gives this a listen he could shed a little light on this. Honestly I just listened to parts of 20-25 of Danny's Youtube tracks and the tone sounds similar @ times.

I love a good mystery! I've sent it on to a few players I know but maybe somebody on this list will hit the switch. It says they are the featured artists, so I assume the tune may come from one of them wink

My first thought was Roy B as well, but it does sound a little too clean and polished for him. Then Steve Miller came to mind, is it possible this is he? Could be an obscure studio demo of some sort.

Maybe I am hearing something different - or the song changes from time to time? It was a slow blues (live performance) that I was listening to?

Sounds like a Fender Strat to me.

The video had pictures of a letter signed by Eric Johnson and its clean/sharp enough to be him although I havent listened all the way through.

Other strat guys that could play like this are perhaps Robert Cray/Jeff Beck (but i dont think it is)

Its probably Seymour himself !!!
