Topic: Paul Green School of Rock

This is a school started in Philadelphia Pa in 1998, with the hopes of educating and sparking interest in children about rock music. (Sounds like IBF's BITS) It now has 46 different locations coast-to-coast in 19 states. I mention this because they recently had a shredding contest and the winner is a 16 y/o teen from my "neighborhood". Paden Mullens. I know I can get some JB to him. (I've got teen operatives, lol) The local paper says it's on you tube (I'm utube challenged). The same page also says that a local girl Julienne Irwin(14y/o) was in round 3 of AGT. I'm surrounded by genius!  I forgot: He won a $2,600 Paul Reed Smith guitar......

Re: Paul Green School of Rock

Here's a link....pretty cool...but too much technique & not enough soul for me....

Cool that the prize was a PRS though :-)

I used to listen to a lot of that sort of shred-dy music in the 80's...but not so much now...Joe's my hero ;-)
