Topic: Blackpool times (for buses)

Having never been to one of Joe's concerts before, I was just wondering roughly what time the show's likely to finish? (including, possibly, hanging around in the hope of meeting Himself afterwards...) With all the daft panic buying of fuel it's looking like a bad idea to use my Land Rover, and my bike's seat's still at the upholsterer being recpovered - that would be an uncomfortable ride... So we may well be using National Express, and in order to prebook, I need to know the approximate times.

The show starts at 7.30 pm and finishes at 9.50 pm

Hey Kenny - How do you know the Blackpool show starts at 7:30?  Is that what time doors open, because when I was due to see him there last year before he cancelled I e-mailed the venue and they told me he'd be on stage at 8pm.

All UK shows have started at 7.30 am sharp (I have been to 3) instead of 8pm like last year. There is no support artist.

Cheers Kenny - i was gearing up for 8pm and am delighted you have told me that - I owe you my friend!!  I'm just hoping he plays Happier Times now as it wasn't on a set list I saw from the other day.  Everything crossed for that one.

At Edinburgh Joe left the show about an hour after the performance ended if that's any kind of guide for meeting up with him. Best to find a local bar from where you can see the tour bus! smile

Thanks for that - we'll certainly try! Joe will no doubt have earned his glass (or solo cup) of wine! Having looked at the bus times and train costs we've decided to revert to plan A and use my Land Rover - nine or ten hours would be a bit long to wait for the bus home!
