Topic: Blackpool,April 5th,who's going?

Just a note to see who's making the trip to the chilly-even in summer,believe me- north of England!? We're only under two hours away,tho staying over,Good Friday the next day so no worries about work next day,not sure where yet.A few decent hotels and TONS of seaside guest houses available so SHOULD find something.Hoping to get down early lunchtime to try and catch the band for some pics or autographs.Saw joe on the BCC tour twice last year and got joe to sign my bicep,below an existing tattoo,with the intension of getting it inked in the next day. All went well til i got the job of spraying roof timbers with preservative next morning,with accompanying mask,gloves,goggles,paper suit and two kilos of sweat lost.Needless to say,upon finishing,my tee shirt had smudged said signature beyond recognition!!!! So,joe,if you see this and some guy presents you with a rolled up sleeve ,be kind!!

Hi Idolbone, yeah Blackpool is always a bit fresh but Joe and the boys will put on a fiery show to end their 2012 European Tour. that was tough the Joe sig  faded off, but Joe usually has a Marker/sharpie close by so you may get another possible tattoo template.

As for attendees to this special European send off show (so far i know of) feel free to add

I shall be there in Blackpool with my son. Whether we'll be riding up from Stoke on our motorcycles or trundling in my Land Rover, we'll be there!  It's going to be our first live JB experience, and with the deferred gratification syndrome brought about by Joe's unfortunate bout of flu last year, excitement's reaching fever pitch! Look out for the two big blokes with beards (one considerably fatter, and greyer in the beard), and feel free to advise on where to be to have a chance to meet the great man after the show...

Don't know but they seem to be dragging defeat from the jaws of victory. Having said that I've followed them since I can remember (over 50yrs) they have always been like this. Dreading Notts County on Tuesday. The original yoyo's.
Enjoy Blackpool, we would have been there but we are in the States then. Managed to get 6 tickets for Sheffield instead. A shame because we had great seats there and the Motorpoint Arena isn't the best and we are now along way from the stage. Still can't wait though. 6 days and counting.

Should be cool,not an arena like the rest of the tour,an old theatre-tho i've never actually been inside-by all accounts. you're away? That's the reason i got my two tickets,The good Dr Giles couldn't make the re-scheduled gig as he's away that week,the tickets were offered up face value and i was lucky enough to be first !

I had 6 tickets in the circle left of centre but sold them back to Eventim to get the Sheffield ones. It's a great old opera house and in the past the sound was always good. Also as far as I'm aware all the viewing positions are great. You will have a class night and the sound will be awesome. Enjoy.....

Live in Lancs now, but was actually at the Lane last week.

Count me in, I will be there with the missus and a couple of friends.

Having just seen him at Sheffield, and the upcoming show at Liverpool.
