One of my absolute favorite guitar players. Jimmie has always stayed true to what he does best. As a guitar player, there is allot you can learn from Jimmie if you listen closely.

Everybody always like Stevie better but if you really look into what Jimmy is doing he is much more technically proficient, he just never did all the flashy stuff Stevie was known for as well as letting loose and just going for it like Stevie did.  He was the guy that taught Stevie how to play in the first place!

Happy B Day Jmmy.Jimmy has his own style.Stevie was always saying His brother was his favorite.I think Stevie had always looked up to him.One of my favorite cds is Family Style which the two of them did.

I have Family Style, great CD, but I must admit the Fabulous Thunderbirds were never the same after Jimmie left. I saw them with Jimmie in Palo Alto years ago and Jimmie stole the show.
