I was listening to Pat St.John last night on Sirius radio and he said that it has been reported that Gary's heart attack was caused by alcohol. The level found in Gary's body was 5 times the legal limit. He said it was less, but not by too much, than what was found in John Bonham's body. Very sad

Whoa slow down there Ted179.Best to say in your opinion.I may say Joe.But how could anyone argue against Hendrix,Page,SRV ect?Best guitarist?Hardly a fact,will always be discussed.

I have several 'favourite guitarists, each has a style of his own, each I love in the different ways, no one player is ever going to be the best. My two main players are Joe and Frampton, two very different styles for different moods, both play a large acoustic segment to their shows, both have massively loyal fan bases. Over the years there were many others, some more versatile than others. I know if you told Joe he was the best he would completely disagree as would Gary before his death. So I think prefer would suffice.
