Topic: Frampton Comes Alive 35 Tour…
Out of the blue a couple of days ago, my great friend Steve asked me to take pictures/video of a laughter therapy session he was doing at a Senior Apartment Building. He offered a free spare ticket to see Peter Frampton at the Pabst Theater this past Wednesday night as payment. Well, I told him I wouldn’t take it for free, so my treat was dinner. He told me that the two seats he had were one dead center, front row and the other was dead center fourth row and that he wanted me to sit in the front row to take some pictures. As it turned out and something I’ve never heard before, He was contacted by the theater the day before the show indicating that he no longer could have the front row ticket, that Frampton’s people were taking the first row, center section to videotape the show which they did. So they offered two seats together in the center section that were ten rows back and a set of free tickets to another show. Steve said, “Deal”!
I had seen Frampton and this same band back in July at Summerfest in Milwaukee sitting in the first row with Peter standing right in front of me. So to me, it didn’t really matter, I was just happy to be going with my Buddy. I must tell you, as good as the Summerfest show was, this show was way, way over the top! Like Joe, the band started right on the minute of 8:00 PM and without a break, ended the show at 11:00 PM. Three full hours of Frampton style Rock!
I took no pictures of the show, but I did bring my new video camera and caught a couple of songs. I’m posting up this one video which I hope you enjoy and it should give you an idea of how fabulous the show was and how excited the crowd got. What a fun night, wish you all could have been there! Bear with me, the video really improves at about the two minute mark when some people start sitting down, which is also the same time I show a little bit of the intricate details of the Pabst Theater. Joe performed here last March to the same enthusiasm!

P.S. Almost forgot, the only thing that Peter Frampton has lost is his hair, both his guitar and vocal work were absolutely stellar!
