Yep... Just watched a documentary of her life on the biography channel a few nights ago.  Great talent but a very sad life.  Gone way too soon.

My alltime favorite female singer, she rules the house of Shred whenever the wifey is out....wife came home sooner than I expeceted and all I hear is NOOOOO!!!!.....to loud and them pipes were pumping some serious blood through her body, Janis that is smile

Here I think is one of the bright moments in her life.  She sure looks like she was having the time of her life.  This is my favorite clip of her. With her and Tom Jones, I think the 2 broke the thermometer with their singing and their moves.

I can't thank You Tube enough and all the posters who put up these awesome clips of acts that I never would have seen.  I wish I could have seen the whole Tom Jones show, but this was such a fun clip from that.  If you are interested their are also some clips with Janis on the Dick Cavett Show.
