It's because there's a foam cushion that meets the switch when you push down.
I've been thinking about the Jerry Cantrell Wah for some time, but now I'm seriously considering this one instead. Choices ... Choices ...
If you've been thinking of the JC wah, you will love this new one.

I hear and feel a very solid click if I stick my finger up under the foot pedal and press it that way
but if I just have it on the floor and use my foot,, its ever so slight of a feel.
You can adjust how high/low the switch is. Open up the wah and loosen the retainer nut
on the switch. Turn the threaded shaft of the switch and "raise" it some.
Trial and error will get it where YOU like it.
Alright, I know this has been beaten to death, but I still don't quite understand the order. Is it guitar into fuzz, into wah then into amp, or is it guitar into wah, into fuzz, into amp?

I prefer the latter.
I prefer wah, fuzz, then od or amp if you're not using another drive pedal.
My JB wah tone report:
Love the tone of the wah when NOT bypassed. But don't like the tone when wah is off. It darkens my "real" tone too much.
Don't like the wah so much in true bypass. Too thin for me. But like the "real" tone with the wah off.
So I'm screwed.

what about putting an A/B switch in front of it..
That way just leave the wah in the On setting.. when you want to use it.. step on the a/b switch and wah away.

I haven't found a good place to put my JB Fuzz yet. It won't get into my "normal rotation" until it finds a home in my pedal chain.

How many pedals are on your board? Buy a good quality buffer, they are not very expensive. Put it in line either at the very end of your chain or just after the wah. Look at JHS Pedals or Carl Martin for examples.
I don't have the wah on a board. Tested it on its own.
Ya know, I've started to play around with the switch inside and I really can't hear an audible difference between the two settings. I've tried every combination of pedal up, down, before fuzz, and after. I'm only playing through a '57 Champ, but I would expect the sound to be noticeable at 5 with the guitar cranked.
Well, mine is totally different. Maybe the amp has something to do with it.
Also, I've done some searching. Some buyers have complained about bad QC.
Has any one figured out which way the switch is in true-bypass? Right or Left?

See post 117 above. You can hear the difference in tone quite clearly.
I know most "purists" will keep the bona-wah in the 'old school' by pass mode.
but has anyone thought of drilling a small hole in the base plate so that you don't have to take the pedal a part if you wanted to switch it the other way?
a small rubber grommet should be able to plug up the hole.
Just wondering
