Topic: Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour '74

I just got this album today from Amazon with my christmas money, and it is awesome!! I can see why Bonamassa says it's one of his favorite albums!! Great guitar playing and singing.

There's lots more where that came from. Check out all the Rory you can get your hands on. The "Irish Clapton" left us way to soon.

Photo Finish, Against the Grain and Calling Card immediatly spring to mind but some of the other live stuff is just simply tremendous....there's a lot of live stuff from Germany......Rockpalast stuff etc.

I saw Rory 4/5 times and he gave his all every time.....I can see a lot of Joe's work ethic coming from watching Rory I suspect....not a bad example to follow!!!

"Live In Europe" is another excellent CD of Rory's. Must agree with welshchris, the two times I saw Rory were some of the most memorable shows ever, there simply was nothing like him live.

Also, if you're looking to add a DVD to your collection, "Ghost Blues" is very good. http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Blues-Story … amp;sr=1-1
