Topic: Joe at the Orpheum Vancouver BC

Although we have been JB fans for several years, we saw him live for the first time last night at the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC. What an incredible talent. I cannot believe that there wasn't even a review published in the local Vancouver newspaper this morning. This was a sold out show, and we were in the fourth row center. The acoustics in this theater are perfect and all of the Gibsons sounded exceptionally sweet. I just cannot believe that Joe is not more recognized for the real talent that he is. It was the best concert that I have ever been to. 2 1/2 hours of sweet, sweet sound. Christmas came early in Vancouver.

I was there. Out of the guitarists I've seen live (Clapton, Robert Cray, Santana), I have to say that Joe Bonamassa was the best of the bunch, hands down. Please come back to Vancouver soon, or else I just might wear out my Royal Albert Hall DVD.

Also, does anyone have the setlist for this Vancouver show? I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it. I am a newcomer to Joe's repertoire so I did not know all the songs by name, and I like to keep a record of setlists of shows I've been to if possible.

The first time I saw Joe Bonamassa in person 11 years ago, it was this song, ironically also the powerful opener also, that pinned me to the floor and back wall at the same time......never been the same since...
