Topic: The Green Car Motel

I stumbled across this band while watching the film "Collateral" starring Tom Cruise, there was a song that instantly grabbed me.

After delving more into their catologue i found a unique style, their music is haunting and gets in deep.

I would say it's like, as if a consignment of John Hiatt, Tom Waits and U2  CD's were being being transported in a truck and it crashed, caught alight and all the cd's were solidified into one musical melt

Great band.  I got their self-titled album a couple years back a definitely hear a bit of old U2.  Look into the band Calexico for that similar cool sound.
