Topic: Baltimore MD show

I haven't been to a concert in over 30 years, but after recently discovering JB through Pandora and Palladia, I had to go.
I have no musical talent, but was still blown away by his skills. I imagine musicians appreciate his abilities even more. I'm not into Stadium concerts, so the smaller venue was great. Sat near the top, but still close enough to see the guitar work.
I love the fact that he starts the show exactly at the listed time.
I can't think of a harder working person than what I saw that night!
Two minor nits: 1. Looking towards the stage over a sea of smart phone displays was a bit distracting. 2. During some of the intricate pieces (solos), some overzealous fans couldn't resist shouting out words of support, but Joe sushed them. Can't really blame them, and took it all in stride.
Nevertheless, I still had a great time. So much so that I've already bought tix for the Pitt, PA show.

I can't think of a better way to have celebrated my 50th b-day! ..... Well, not many anyway.

Welcome to the forum Bill!  Glad you had a great experience, it was quite a show!  Re: the overzealous fans, there's one or two at every show.  They deserve to be hushed.  I too will be in Pittsburgh as that is the closest show this Spring, maybe we'll see each other.

Why not the Jersey show Jim?

Re: Baltimore MD show

My inlaws are in Pitt. and it's a Saturday show so it's a little easier to do.  I'm sure/hoping there will be some D.C. area shows in the fall.

Sounds good-was hoping to run into you again.  Maybe if there is a Philly show.

Re: Baltimore MD show

Well, it appears to have happened again. Didn't get tickets for Joe's closest spring concert to us, Pittsburgh, as it's 3+ hours away, and you just KNOW Joe will come closer to Philly/Baltimore/DC than that, right? He can't ignore his Mid-Atlantic fans, right?

Wrong. Saw his tweet that he shifts to BCC in June, so it's looking less and less like any more shows will be added after 5/25.

Now all the best seats for the next-closest shows are long gone... just like when his closest date last February was Wilkes-Barre, and we held off, then had to grab two tickets in nosebleed country. Joe, I know "always on the road" probably gets old, and you have a lot going on, but please don't bypass your loyal Baltimore contingent again! sad

smile  That's why I decided to drive to Syracuse all the way from south of Baltimore smile  I sure hope he makes it here in fall though!!! Hopefully BCC makes the MD/VA/DC circuit again this year!
