Topic: Chandler teles & strats

Hey everyone,

I've tried looking up Chandler strats and teles on ebay to no avail. The ones I see always look like Charvels, Jacksons, or metal strats.  The ones Joe used to play looked like Fenders. Has anyone seen these guitars besides the ones Joe used to play???

Why did Joe stop playing them? I thought the wear & tear was too heavy on vintage guitars to take them on the road, but I understand the current attitude that guitars NEED to be played and not stored in a closet. That said - where are these Chandlers!? Obviously Joe is not playing them anymore.

Nick,
You ever hear of Nash Guitars? I've played a few of these and they're great.

Re: Chandler teles & strats

Joe's Chandler Strat was made for him and given to him by Chandler. He toured with it for a couple of years and I believe it was on HTCT When the Sun Goes Down. As you know Joe isn't playing a lot of Strats latley. I'm sure it is around.

The ones in Guitar World Magazine from 2002 are the kinds I've always been keeping an eye open for.
