Re: james hunter

James Hunter is performing a couple of acoustic shows near me and I just realized after hearing him as Susan Tedeschi's warm-up, I never bought any of CD's.  I totally forgot about him and I think he is fantastic!

So, what does anyone recommend for buying 2 of his CD's?  I think I'm leaning towards the Hard Way for 1..Thanks.  smile

Re: james hunter

wow, where has this voice been hiding? It does sound a lot like Sam, I listened to another on Utube and he had the James Brown squeal going on. The only better voice I have heard lately is Anthony Hamilton. It's a real throwback sound that many of us babyboomers appreciate. I used to think Lowell George was the only white guy blessed with such a soulful blues voice, not any more. Thanks very much Joe, will have to check out further.
