Hey Gary, I hope your stress level is reduced by now.
I always have a couple of glasses of red wine with dinner and I noticed a long time ago that I can fall asleep easily but wake up in 3 or 4 hours later and can't get back. The fact that I do intensive cardio every morning and strength train 3x a week has no impact what so ever on my sleep. I tried not drinking at all during the week for a while and my sleep was pretty much the same. So I chalk it up to getting older . I guess the most important thing is that you're ok the next day. I never feel tired during the day in fact could fare well with a little less energy.
I doubt this is of any value to you . But I just noticed this subject and dozed right into it.
Thanks Robin.All the ideas are good.I would say that its not a chronic problem for me but sometimes stress gets the best of me.I have been ok since the post.
