You should have asked the poster, i.e. me, instead of someone else.
I deliberately posted the 'story' in General because the mere fact of Joe's omission is 'Joe news' imho. Moreover, it's clear from Joe's FB post yesterday that he's not happy about it - though he, and we all put a brave face on it and (justifiably) have a pop at RS for their sell out to commerce.
It's a disgrace, and though it will make no difference to Joe's career, I think we're entilted to vent our outrage.

Yeah, can't you see the editors sitting around a table scratching their heads for some column inches and one pipes up, "Hey, how about another best 100 list?" 
They should have tried rap stars or pop artists, except at least half of the current crop would have been left off.

At the very least, the editors should define the meaning of "Best Guitarist". Do they mean best virtuosity, best innovation, best inspiration, best writing or what? Maybe it's best use of an instrument to pick up chicks! I dunno. My head hurts now so I'll leave it alone.
