Topic: Goodbye Old Friend

I'm sure some of you have had to deal with this before. I had to say goodbye to my trusty pick-up today. After 8 years and 326,000 miles, I had to turn her in for a new one. Although there's some excitement in getting a new truck, I was surprised at the bittersweet feelings I had. The old truck has taken me and others all over the western U.S. on countless fishing expeditions, moving friends and traveling cross country for family while never once giving me a lick of problems. She'll be missed.
Meanwhile, I guess it's time to get the new one broken in with a fishing trip to the Sierras this weekend with my other best friend.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Can't think of a better way. Late fall has the big ones on the move from the lakes.  smile
