Religious use of hand sanitizers, frequent hand washing, and a combo of Theraflu and Airborne fizzy tablets at the first hint of anything works for me. I had the flu shots twice in the last 4 years. Got sick as hell both times right after the shot.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

I am "in the biz" and I have watched healthy adults die as a direct result of H1N1 flu. I have one 32 year old mother of three who will need a lung transplant because ~75% of her lungs were destroyed 2 years ago. Be careful.

I whole heatedly agree. Airborne works great! I prefer not to get any flu shot. My wife is a teacher so she is exposed to what ever her kids have and of course it inadvertently comes home with her. I guess that helps build up our resistance as we've been fortunate to have nothing more than a few sneezes and just a slight runny nose every once in a great while.

I was skeptical of Airborne at first, my wife got me some to use when I fly on business since airplanes are germ bombs. I have to admit it seems to work. I haven't come down with a bug after flying since I started using it. Now we use it right away if we get "that feeling" like you think you're coming down with something. Seems to nip it in the bud by giving the body a boost of vitamins and minerals to help combat the bug. It is certainly not expensive.
