- to drag this  thread up again....I had a FB update from Gibson that stated that Dave Grohl was playing a Gibson guitar, -  http://youtu.be/EOVfpm2MlrQ when I looked at the video it was his blue semi which I had always assumed was a custom build..A bit more research and discover that it is DG-335, - which I believe is not a production model, - why? anybody else agree with me that it looks beautiful?

oh and on the subject of DG.. What an artist. And on the subject of Foo Fighters - what a band! - Probably on the top of the list of my list of bands that I have not seen but want to.

My daughter said I'd like the FOO fighters and would send me some stuff.....she didn't but I've heard them (mostly) on Planet Rock and I must admit they're growing on me fast....seem better each time I hear them!

Watching them play "Young Man Blues" on Austin City Limits on WETA (PBS) out of Chicago. Good stuff, but J.B. only needs 1 guitar and wins hands down vocally. Still, I like this band. Looks like this is a new show. Catch it if you can.  Cathy
