Re: Happy Birthday

And we are looking good at 236 years of age and only going to get better.

Semper Fi Sarge!

BTW: Since Spider is the last to respond I think he should buy the first round?  I'll start the tab.  We can find a pub down on Front Street across from Penns Landing which is where the original Tun Tavern was located...cheers!

No problem. Drinks are on me. I wish I was coming to Philly.

Re: Happy Birthday

Even this swabby would set up a round for the Marines! Good shipmates,  Semper Fi!

Re: Happy Birthday

Rick,
Believe it or not I have never heard a "swabby" refer to Marines as good shipmates, but I guess anything is possible.  However, our Corpsman were our treasure and they always had big brass ones. And for what it's worth, welcome home!

Spider,
We would love to have you in Philly but mark my word, we'll blow a lung cheering for Joe.  Perhaps a Marine Corp death charge or two.

Well, I recall a few brawls on the mess decks after the liberty boat got back in Subic, but I had good friends in the Co. Much respect.

Re: Happy Birthday

Hey Spider,

I sent you an e-mail a couple weeks ago, I'm not sure if you got it.  I thought you had a post out looking for Philly tickets but maybe not.  I have 2 extra tickets in Philly Row A center. A couple of people have verbally bought them, then backed out...So, e-mail me if you have any interest in the tickets, I'd be willing to lose a little money on them so they don't go to waste.

Re: Happy Birthday

Spider,
I will keep an eye out for any message.  I am taking the CPA Exam tomorrow so I will be unable to communicate up to early afternoon.

I read Angel's response about an unused ticket(s) and just wanted to mention that I too may have one available...long story as to why, but I won't know until early afternoon.  One row in front of Angela's and center too.

FYI: the Academy of Music is old and I don't think they ever change the seat size so I would recommend not bringing a heavy jacket.

Re: Happy Birthday

See you tomorrow. My wife has told me to get out of here and go! I love that girl!!  cool

I should add as long as the weather is ok I'll make it down. My little puddle jumper ain't too kind to me in a snow storm. Besides, the Northeast Ext can turn into a parking lot in a heartbeat.
