Topic: Two and A Half Men

Ok I know what I thought about the return of the 2.5 men without Charlie Sheen but what did the rest of you guys think?  I didn't think they could pull it off without him and I still think that the show is going to bomb without him.  All the jokes seemed to be personal stabs and I did think that the show was all that funny tonight.  Am I wrong?

The jury's still out here. There were a few good laughs, but I'll need to give it a few episodes to see which way the writers will take us. as far as stabs at Charlie....c'mon the guy set himself up.

I was not impressed either but will give it a few more episodes to see how it develops.

BJJ, I actually understand what you're saying. although I did have to ask Ken for help in the interpretation.  tongue
I didn't watch it either but have it recorded.  I'll watch it when I get home tomorrow.  Still, I can't imagine this show without Charlie Sheen.  His character really is what the show was all about.   I like Ashton Kutcher.  Loved him in 'That 70's Show'.  I'm trying to keep an open mind but I have a feeling it will be like watching a different show.  Maybe good.  Maybe not.  I heard they killed off Charlie.  If that's the case, I think they might regret that.  Anyway, I think I'm gonna miss the show the way it was.

You know, I never took the time to watch 2.5 Men prior to the whole "scandal" or whatever you want to call it.

Out of curiosity I did sit down and watch a few episodes and actually enjoyed it. I tend to agree with Susan, it was clearly the "Charlie show" and the dynamic between him and the other guy (and the kid) was what made it work IMO.

Too bad, but given Charlie's drive and talent I suspect he'll land on his feet as long as he can stay clean. I wish him well.
