Topic: Warren Haynes Man in Motion Tour

Warren ripped it up last night at Careneige music hall in Munhall Pa.

Almost 3 hours long,He was like the Energizer bunny..could have played all night.
He played a lot from his newest CD “Man in motion”…
Plus he jammed out on :Steely Dan, King Crimson, Hendrix  & Tower of Power’s jam on “What is Hip”
He played 2 Gibson ES 335's most of the night. ( Cherry Red and a Natural flame top)
he ended with his Les Paul on Soul Shine's encore.

Blues,Funk,Soul,Rock..it was all there and then some....
This was my first time seeing Warren without Goverment Mule or the Allman Bros band.
It surely will not be my last time..for sure....wow still pumped up & on 3 hours of sleep!

Re: Warren Haynes Man in Motion Tour

sounds like a great show, would love to catch it if he gets anywhere close to Birmingham. I just bought Man in Motion last week and have been wearing it out, very good CD. Has anybody posted a review or said anything about the release? guess I will do the obligatory search.

hot damn, either Mobile on 11/8 or Chattanooga on 11/11, or both. probably not both.

Re: Warren Haynes Man in Motion Tour

The best thing about last night was it was all about the music and the fans.....instead of the almighty dollar sign/greed.

More artists can give us fans a break and not have to pay for the alimighty Ticket-puppet-Master extra fees.

Last night's tickets did not gouge your eyes out as they were 35 or 25 each.....

Man in Motion is a very very good CD.....It took me a few listens but hooked me.

Warren is in Charlotte, North Carolina tonight ( I lived there in the late 90's )

Anyone in the area looking for something to do tonight, ,should go and see this incredible man & his magic band...

Re: Warren Haynes Man in Motion Tour

I can only echo what has been said here. We got to see him on this tour in the Summer in Europe and he puts on a simply wonderful show of music.

If he is doing a similar set to the European tour then the solo acoustic numbers are just spellbinding. He changes it around and I was lucky enough to see him play Elton's 'madman across the Water' and it was the dogs nuts.

Get out there people and see Warren on this tour. It is feelgood music +1000.

I hope he comes back with this format again soon.

There was a Warren Haynes thread on her for some time during the summer, but what the hell, he's worth 2!
