Just want to say that I think the world of Charlie, and do not hold any ill feelings for he and his team wanting to win. ATL got what they deserved and are obviously not as good as the Phils. Charlie is a total class act, and I love the fact that he won't take any crap off anybody. I wish I felt the same about Tony.

Cards LaRussa paid Charlie Manuel a compliment for playing to win when he could have taken an easier path. My son thinks absolutely, the Yankees threw the game away, I hadn't really thought of that until he mentioned it. He feels the Red Soxs would have done the same thing if things were reversed, they hate each other.

Most excellent baseball so far in the playoffs. I believe I gave passing mention to the Redbirds a bit back. I'm in their corner as well. Carpenter was masterful tonight. I love this game! Money can't always buy you wins.
