Without even reading this thread, I was sending you good vibes yesterday.  smile  I was in a oral surgeon's waiting room reading magazines while my mother-in-law had 2 teeth pulled. One of the articles was about the top 10 places to live in the USA where the cost of living isn't a killer...Iowa was listed...which made me think of YOU.  smile

I only know a little about your circumstances, but when someone you once loved continues to cause you pain, its a continual reminder of all the pain & sorrow he has caused you...it just keeps multiplying, BUT seeing his true colors, makes it just a little bit easier to move on (in your heart and your mind) and realize your better off without him.  wink  Divorce is always more complicated when there are children involved, but being that your son is a little older and wiser and the kind of relationship you two have shared...your son will be on to the ulterior motives...

You have a lot of life left, its going to get better. Better days are coming to you Patty!  Hang tough. smile
