Topic: Frankie Hannon pulling a moon dog mane song out

My man, Frankie Hannon, putting up some sweet, sweet southern sound.

I put this clip up for you especially J Dawg as I know you are a bigtime Lynyrd Skynyrd and Moon Dog Mane fan.
Because in the intro he tells the story of what the meaning of the song is and the next time you hear it J Dawg it will have a special meaning for you.  It does for me.  It's in a lower key than normal, but I wanted you to hear the story behind it in case you didn't know.

This one makes me laugh. I just love Frankie and what he is about.

XLNT! Really enjoyed Moon Dog Mane, got to see them live twice @ Konocti, once unplugged and once full on electric. Still crank up the CD occasionally, good rock n roll with that sweet southern sound. Thanx!!!

Thanks TRC, I'm liking that too. Another that slipped under my radar until now.

Did you ever catch Moon Dog when they were around Randu? They did mostly club gigs and the occasional opening bill, like the full band gig I saw @ Clearlake, they opened for Skynyrd. BTW, you goin' to BR Cohn this year?

Never did.......Also, Im a no go to BR Cohn even though its right in my backyard. Went to the annual event a few years back and I know its for charity but they WAY over sell that place.

Gotta say though, the line up just keeps getting better and better.

Kind of Bruce's mini version of a Day On The Green. The sets are minimal due to the number of acts, that's why I'm catching Skynyrd @ Thunder Valley for a full dose and a...... Second Helping, LOL!
