Re: Nirvana

The release is a really big deal.  I've been active in the Nirvana community and live show trading for around 15 years.  4 CDs + DVD is great.  The live DVD features a legendary show that was filmed rather than video taped.  Its official release has been anticipated for a very long time.  I can't wait to finally see it as a complete show.  Most of the other material is traded in reasonable quality, but hopefully these are significant upgrades.

Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Reissue, Gibson LP Standard Faded CSB, Gibson Gary Moore LP Standard, Epi Joe Bonamassa GT LP, Epi Zakk Wylde LP, Dean Michael Schenker Flying V, Jackson Randy Rhoads V, ESP/LTD George Lynch Kamikaze, EVH Striped Series R/B/W, Fender/Squire John 5 Telecaster, Fender Joe Strummer Relic Telecaster

Re: Nirvana

it was an interesting time in music, that I remember well, - as up until then guitar based music was not getting radio airplay, - along came Nirvana, Pearl Jam and the like and it was popular again, - also fashion changed! I had taken a few years out from a serious job so was working in the Mountain Bike industry (another new expanding thing) so got to wear my baggy shorts and boots to work every day! - We played Nevermind up pretty loud in that shop!

- the music is still sounding good today, - 12 year old son loves the album, - and it is great to see what Dave Grohl has done since, he is up there at the top now, - and who would have thought that of the drummer!!??  wink

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:
