A heads up for our New York/New Jersy fans. From his FB post today. Sounds interesting.
Walter Trout
I have just added a special gig to this tour -- on Aug 29th I will do 2 shows at The Iridium jazz club in New York City . I will front the Les Paul Trio with Anton Fig from the Letterman show on drums , and doing music I dont play on my regular shows .This should be a fun evening !! Shows at 8 and 10

I saw him last minute in Sellersville, PA on Thursday, and he didn't mention this show! His band was saying their next date was Sunday night in Boston and they were concerned about how the hurricane would affect that show. I guess they were planning on doubling back to NYC the following day.

Given how snarled transportation is in that neck of the woods today, I hope Walter makes it to the gig in time!

Walter said the show is still on and will be broadcast live. I believe the link to view it live is this:  http://www.livestream.com/iridium
They start rehearsel at 5:30, which will also be broadcast, with shows at 8:30 and 10:30. All times eastern.

I'll be listening on the late show and maybe part of the early one online. This should be very good. Thanks Lee.

Well I just came here to do the same, but the stream isn't working for me... I get the opening "commercial", then nothing... although it allows me to hit pause and play, with no results... and it says "offline"... hmmm, what's up with that?  hmm   sad

Between sets right now. Try again in a bit. I just got the same after catching the last 3 songs of the first set. another half hour at 1030 EST.

It just came up. Short sets. He had no time to rehearse due to the hurricane. Good show though.

Guess I missed it.  Been busy doing about 5 things at once here, not to mention my computer has been giving my problems tonight (need a restart).  Oh well.  sad
