Re: The Best live Albums? - A Trip Down Memory Lane

UFO - Strangers In The Night   - seems a popular choice
Beck Bogert & Appice - Live In Japan ('73)
Status Quo - Live  (one for the Brits, Quo at their best, mid 70s)
Jethro Tull - Bursting Out
Jonny Lang - Live At The Ryman
Philip Sayce - Ruby Electric (Vol.2)
Heaven & Hell - At Radio City (CD with the DVD)
Blue Oyster Cult - On Your Feet Or On Your Knees
Deep Purple - California Jam ('74)
Whitesnake - Live - In The Heart Of The City
Scorpions - Tokyo Tapes
Judas Priest - Unleshed In The East
Muse - Hullabaloo
Motorhead - No Sleep 'til Hammersmith
Siouxsie & The Banshees - Nocturne
The Cure - Show
Foo Fighters - take your pick
Rory Galllagher - plenty of good bootlegs between '74 and '84

Okay, maybe all aren't "the best" of any musical genre, but for me, they show the bands at their peak: and they are albums I won't be without. Often they don't progress, or worse, backslide.

When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.
Give back the lemons.  Why were the lemons free?  What's wrong with the lemons?
Do Not trust the lemons...
