RAH is my new number one but I agree that Strangers is right at the top.  In fact, listened to RAH as I was getting ready for a road trip yesterday and then listened to Strangers all the way on my drive. Have also been enjoying David Bowie's David Live for most of my life.

oh yeah that Rush in Rio is a dandy. I think they said it was shot with like 23 cameras, and the Brazilian people had the time of their life. Never seen a crowd like that on film having that much fun. Parteeeee....

actually Different Stages is 3 concerts in one package, I own that too, the best of which is A Show of Hands. Trivia buffs, where did they get the name for this concert title?

Grand Funk Railroad - Live Album

The first is incredibly well put together - was reminded of this last week seeing MSG support BCC and seeing Schenker thrash out the solo again

The second is the 'roughest' recording you could ever hear - No post production here but a real feel of the sense of the occasion - Atlanta festival 1970

P.S. speaking of classics, Bluezman texted me a dozen times today trying to talk me into going to the Warfield Theater in SF tonight to hear Frampton reprise Comes Alive start to finish, but I'm beat from a long day of work after diggin' the hell outta Matt Schofield last night. The Bay Area is a cornucopia of entertainment, just can't do it all.....damnit!!!
