Topic: What are all your favorite movie soundtracks, Orchestral, i mean

My 2 would have to be DaVinci Code and Gladiator, both done by Hans Zimmer, MAGNIFICENT, makes me cry like a little girl everytime time I hear them, another cool one is Van Helsing

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

One thing that always puzzled me was why Tarzan didn't have a beard.

i like james bond soundtracks, especially live and let die, the man with the golden gun, a view to a kill, you only live twice and goldfinger.

My top 4 would be:  " The Strawberry Statement "(1970) soundtrack includes:Something In the Air, Helpless, Our House, Suite:Judy Blue Eyes, The Loner, Down By the River, Give Peace a Chance, Fishin' Blues,Concerto in D Minor, Also sprach Zarathusta.
"Lady Sings the Blues" (1972) Billie Holiday story with Diana Ross, Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryor...
"Easy Rider"  I never really thought of myself as a freak, but I love to freak
                              "Big Chill"

Now I have to find a copy of The Strawberry Statement to watch. Anyone else remember this movie?     Patty

The Mission - Ennio Morricone; just beautiful and an underated movie
Out of Africa - John Barry
Dances with Wolves - John Barry
Doctor Zhivago - Maurice Jarre
Pretty much any movie with John Williams

I'm with you on Ennio Morricone, but for his work with Sergio Leone on the "Spaghetti Westerns" - love that stuff!

I always found the music in the film Suspiria to be troubling and yet cool... by the Italian group Goblin....
