I saw that on the Weather Channel this morning. I think Oli Brown was performing there. I will have to messsage him thru FB to see if everyone is OK.

It's unfathomable to see that no one was killed. Just incredible.
Just super lucky the wind blew it towards the back of the stage. From the pictures it looked to be blowing at least gale force.

One story I read mentioned a 96 mph wind gust. The part that blew over landed on the bands truck which kept it about 5 feet off the ground and allowed the band and crew to maneuver underneath it to escape. The truck driver had abdominal injuries and a fractured femur. The band lost all of their instruments including one of Rick's 5 neck Hamer guitars. I'm sure they still consider themselves fortunate.
horrible situation for all concerned and gladly there wasnt too much in the way of injuries it could have been catastrophic.
My question is really what are Cheap Trick doing at a Blues Festival ?
