Topic: BB King @ North Sea Jazz 2011

I was just wondering if anybody's going this year to see BB King?

I'm now 14 years old and have never seen BB King, so I'm going to take this chance to see him... I wouldn't wanna miss it so I got the tickets a week ago!

I'll be at the Manchester gig  smile

Re: BB King @ North Sea Jazz 2011

BB is cool.  But be prepared to hear him talk and tell stories as much as actually play songs.  It's what he does these days and in my experience, it was a great evening with a truly gracious man.

Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Reissue, Gibson LP Standard Faded CSB, Gibson Gary Moore LP Standard, Epi Joe Bonamassa GT LP, Epi Zakk Wylde LP, Dean Michael Schenker Flying V, Jackson Randy Rhoads V, ESP/LTD George Lynch Kamikaze, EVH Striped Series R/B/W, Fender/Squire John 5 Telecaster, Fender Joe Strummer Relic Telecaster

Yeah, I heard that before but that doesn't stop me from going, haha. As you say, it's always a great experience to see a true legend on the stage.

You will be thankful you went. As you say, a living legend onstage, and one of Joe's biggest influences. Joe reveres him! cool
I have this up elsewhere, in case you missed it, Joe paying homage to the master recently.

I think special guest in this case means the support act which the RAH website says is Avery Sunshine

..and do you want anchovy on that pizza?  lol
