Re: Renegade Creation at the Coach House

Rick, you got me thinking.

I remember watching the TV adaption of Le Carre's 'Tinker, Tailor, soldier, spy', when it was suggested the fake Russian mole 'source Merlin' wasn't one person, but numerous individuals contributing information to a central point.

Thats you Rick. You are not one dude. You are a source Merlin. You are here, and there, watching F1 at 0400 whilst attending gigs somewhere else,or driving to another.

RickB you are not one man! You are an army labouring under a single handle garnering news of Blues, rock, fusion and fads from all and sundry and thats how you got over 4000 posts in week!

Hah sussed you! will the real RickB stand up?

I'm Spartacus, no....I'm Spartacus....I'm Spartacus,...no me.. I'm Spar.................

Phew...............good I'm over that.

There was no real need for this post. I just read your stuff man and thought...........jeez I've been at 652 like..........forever..............so I thought I'd say sumpthin'....you know?

I'm going for a lay down now. Enjoy the gig guys..............ALL OF YOU RICK!

Dang! I'm busted... LOL I'm going full speed Mike, trying to make up for all the fun and gigs I missed while raising a family and putting the kids out on their own with a good start. I have my fingers in many pies and my interests are many. Now is the time for me and my bride to party like "Rock Stars". We're the Geriatric Rock and Roll Groupies right now. big_smile

You missed that one because it is not up yet Mike. My buddy, the drummer for 7th Sons, is the booker! He gave me the heads up a while back but swore me to secrecy until now. Doing vids for unknown bands and promoting them has its payoff. Firstest with the mostest. PM on the way. This is going to be a hell of a gig! Robben is one of the best, and those other guys aren't slouches either. wink big_smile

Re: Renegade Creation at the Coach House

After Robben came through town last month I picked up Renegade Creation CD. I expected much more fusion type stuff but it is really more blues based with some really good songs. Michael Landau's singing was a surprise to me kind of a JJ Cale kind of vibe. Just a couple of instrumentals the rest of the vocals of course are Robben. This CD grabbed me from the fist listen. Having seen Landau recently with JT and Robben sure wishing this tour was coming a bit closer to the midwest.
