Topic: Carmine & Rick

Such a sensible lad that Mr B ........ I mean What a choice those 2 new additions to the band , this even looks like an international band now with an Austrailian keyboardist , A Spanish bass player , A true American powerhouse drummer and a guitarist who has taken little subtle influences of all the great styles Clapton , Hendrix , Page , Stevie Ray , BB , & numerous others and Just Created his own Blistering Style that Wows Audiences Across the States & Europe (soon the World) and with the release of what sounds like an Unbelievable Power Rock/Blues Album in the Summer & it's all still fresh clear clean crisp music he's certainly heading down that long road in the right direction

Kickin' It Like Old School  ........   wink

But what i originally was going to say is that with the introduction of  Silky Carmine and Smooth Rick it has opened up the door for Joe to Experiment musically within the Blues/Rock Field and for us on the forum & the bonamassa fans worldwide we hope to see some of the old tunes coming back ..... because with Rick & Carmine we might get to see

Re: Carmine & Rick

If I could hear Junction 61/Reconsider Baby done live just once, I could die a happy woman.

I love what you said about the international aspect of the band. I picked up this world music/blues compilation CD with blues-flavored songs from all over and in other languages. I love listening to lyrics sung in a language other than english because it makes the vocals more like another instrument in that you listen to the rhythm of the words and not the meaning. It would be great to hear Joe play with a vocalist that sung in, say, Spanish or Porteguese or Swahili.

Nancy

I'm just saying.

Re: Carmine & Rick

Michael,
I would also like to add:

  You Upset Me Baby
Never Make You're Move Too Soon

And a few favorites that Rick and Carmine already know:

  So Many Roads
  Your Funeral and My Trial
  Torn Down

I especially like the idea of "Around The Bend". Like you, I just love that song.
