You're right Tres, which way does the league go with this. It's always been the way you play it when there's a close play @ home. Second basemen are just as vulnerable as is every batter that steps into the batters box, that's baseball, no matter what level you play at the game has its risks.
On the Stow situation, I hope the LAPD have the right guy, but they're known to let people get away with murder, right O.J.? For all you Bonds haters out there it was made public by the Stow families attorney, at his press conference regarding suing the Dodgers over lack of security, that Barry Bonds told the Stow family he would take care of Brian's childrens college tuition. Barry made this gesture to the family last month and didn't intend it to be made public, ahh lawyers, no wonder they're the brunt of many a joke.
