Interesting stuff - as all what Taylor is doing. I have all of his albums up to now and I´ll surely not miss the new one.

I was lucky enough to get to jam with Otis at a blues jam in London last year.... Scariest moment of my life!

Hi Jess,
I went to your band's MySpace offerings and really like what I heard. The band's tight and I like Beth's singing. You've got good tone with your guitar and yeah I'd be scared as well playing with Otis. He looks to be an intense dude. Good luck!

Lucky to get in? hmph. Lucky to get out alive. Now you know how it's done...good for you.
Saw Cassie in a picture with JST.

I just love the combinations and layers of sound he achieves with all the different instruments he uses in various permutations of 'The Orchestra'. Cathy likens it to Phil Spector's 'wall of sound'.
Catch this man live if you have the opportunity!
I love Otis... One of the true original bluesman of the modern age ,, maybe the one and only ... He deserves to be a household name.

Joe, Otis is coming to Grolsch Blues Festival in Schoeppingen 11 and 12 of June, I see him there and make a review and try to interview him for www.bluesmagazine.nl
You know that festival very well!! Regards from Richard Hoelscher! I 've never seen Otis live before, will report it here after the show.

Very excited to see Otis Taylor live at the Grolsch Blues Festival.
His latest CD is on my shopping list and I hope to get a signature as well.
If Cassie will be in the band to play the bass, her debut album is on my shopping list as well.
Otis was the perfect end to two days of music and good weather, the crowd went bananas for his trance blues - as did Günter and I. Here are my two vids from the show.

Yes, it was the highlight of the festival, so powerful and intense. For a short moment, when he played his lament for Gary, I was convinced that they´ll wake up the dead. Well, Gary didn´t appear on stage but they did it well without him.

WOW. That was a tribal dance.
Otis put a spell on us and it was working. I have seen nobody who didn't move body and head in the rhythm of the beats.
Even the photographers nodded with their heads.
Now I know what is meant with trance blues.
Apart from Otis the whole band was outstanding and the sound they produced together was great.
It was great that a great festival ended with such a fulminant gig.
