I doubt if you posted this on Snoop Dogg's forum that many people over there would know who you are talking about. This forum does very well for its varied musical contributions.
It was nice that Rocket opened this thread, sorry about the circumstances. And hopefully maybe some more people will have some more sentiments about Mr. Dupree. Now I know of him because of King Curtis. Unfortunately not all of the best musicians and their contributions are known by the mainstream public. Also session musicians go under the radar a number of times because they are the work horses and are not out there in front of the camera. But it's great when they get credit and people recognize their work. Maybe you can fill the forum in on more of what songs that stands out for you regarding Cornell Dupree? When you mention some of those songs, the magic will happen.
