Re: Tommy Castro Band
Get ready guys, saw Tommy last night at the intimate Toot's Tavern in Crocket cross the river. There's been a few changes within the TCB, Ronnie Smith their drummer called it quits to be home with the kids more and his replacement is a young gun named Byron who's up to the task and workin' on getting comfortable with the material. Steve the long time sound man/road mgr. is directing operations other than the sound board from home too. As dknight mentioned, Tommy's put his Strat down in favor of his new Gibson Firebird. He told me he loves the sound and feel and the ol' Strat is just a backup nowadays. Tommy resurrected some older material last night and Tom Poole mentioned they have a rehearsal Thur. so there may be a shake up in the setlist on Fri. night @ the Coach House. Hope you have as much fun as I did last night. Make sure to see Janey @ the merch table and tell her John in Benicia says hello.

Will do JDawg. He played the 'bird a lot down here the last time we saw him as well. I'll be happy to hear him play just about any old thing that comes to mind.
A gig a week from here till July for us now. On a roll and loving every minute.
