Re: Jonny Lang in Sacramento

Hey J Dawg,

Good to hear from you. No problem on the E-mail. I understand about budget issues. Haven't been to any shows lately but am always finding great new guitar players thanks to my friends on this site. If you like Jim Suhler and Monkey Beat check out Jason Elmore and Hoodoo Witch. Suhler produced it and plays on 2 cuts. Jason is another fine Texas player. If your budget improves or you want me to save you something drop me an email. I'm looking for good homes and can wait if need be.

Hey Sherdit,

I haven't seen him live but i do have a couple of live shows by him that I will share with you. One is from 2005, an acoustic show he did in Sacramento and the other is from 1998 in Germany.  If you want either let me know.

Nice to see another fan here on the 50 corridor. I was feelin' a bit lonely!

Re: Jonny Lang in Sacramento

I wont ever pay to see Jonny again, his guitar was out of tune badly or intentionally....he broke a string and his guitar tech handed him a 335 and it sounded great....the next song he switched back and it sucked.....but I will say that the women went bonkers for the young lad  tongue .....he has that amazing 50 year old cigarrete, whiskey smoking voice though  cool  .....my wife was happy she finally got to see him, so I got some props from my sweety
