Topic: Larry Miller
Saw him in Sevenoaks (Kent UK) a fortnight back, and wow he was amazingly good. Sat front row for a small townhall holding maybe 100 people he put on a brilliant show. If you get a chance to see him especially in such a venue you will not be dissapointed. Played a selection of his own songs including the barnstormer that is Mean Old World of his latest album, a truly great song. Some Rory covers (Messin With The Kid, + encore of Bullfrog Blues) and a brilliant version of his song As Blue As It Gets that segued into a middle section of playing tribute to and recreating the sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Cream Era Clapton, Stevie and Rory.
He then finished with a magnificent encore performance of Parisiiene Walkways in tribute to Gary Moore.
Support by the the also very good Melon Head Man, a blend of southern rock superstion and modern hard rock.
If you get a chance to see Larry Miller by all means take it, he was awesome and is hugely underated. Check out some recent Youtube vids of him for some proof. + keep Melon Head Man in mind if you want to rock out.
