I like the Foos a lot, but don't like hoe Dave seems to scream out every song anymore. Especially live.
Dave's never had the best voice and they are kind of hit and miss live....but I was totally thrilled last year to get my picture with Dave as I just happened to walk into the same hotel lobby before the " Them Crooked Vultures" show in Portland...He is a very cool dude.... I mean... he was in Nirvana!!....By the way....TCV ROCKS! Dave belongs on the skins!!

I couldn't agree more, and sometimes the music is too loud and screechy to. Did I say that, ehe.
I do like the FF's tho, These Days is my favorite song on the new album so far.
Love the Foo Fighters. Absolutely amazing band. Really looking forward to the new album. In 20 years when people look back and say "Who was the most important rock band of that era?" I guarantee you the Foos will be one of the first 2 or 3 mentioned. Dave is the man!
The whole album rocks...... from the first track,
Bridge Burning.... Quite, Queens of the Stone Age..... and it Rocks!
Rope ....... The stand-out track... and the first single of the album...... Rocks!
Dear Rosemary ..... It's ok........ rocks in parts.
White Limo ...... Strong track..... in the vain of QOTSA again...... Rocks hard!
Arlandria ....... again, strong track....... Rocks again.
These Days ...... Good track..... love it!
Back & Forth ...... Yeah, love this track as well....... Rocks hard!
A Matter of Time ..... another ok track.....
Miss The Misery ........ Love this track a lot...... another stand-out for me.
I Should Have Known ..... You could call this track a ballad of the album..... nice!
Walk ...... Catchy sing-a-long...... strong track to finish up on
Like the review in this months Classic Rock Magazine who gave this album 8/10... is fair comment.

Of course I am. Been for years. They're keeping the spirit of rock and roll alive and well in these dreadful mainstream times.
We talk here about Joe's amazing work ethic .... the same can be said about Dave Grohl, & 8 yrs older ...... the man is driven..... never stops working / many projects on the go....ect, very much like Joe in that respect.

Love the foo fighters...heard 2 songs from the new album and they sound amazing! Dave Grohl is a genius rock song writer (great melodies and heavy), and great performer. A true rock star.

Love the new album! Can't wait to see them live again. Saw them on the last tour for Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace, and they put on a simply amazing show! It was a big arena show, but they made it feel so warm and intimate. It really struck a chord with me (no pun intended).
I have a lot of respect for Dave Grohl too. Seemingly good guy, great work ethic, lots of projects going, and a real love of music and musicians. Plus he's pals with Lemmy! How can you be bad if you're a pal of Lemmy????

Full concert from Late Night with David Letterman (Live on Letterman), starts off with the whole new album from beginning to end, then greatest hits. Over 1 1/2 hours of live Foo Fighters! Best rock band on the planet.

Best Foo album in a while....Dave does seem to have vocal issues live, but on disc, they sound good.
