Finally got a chance to see Joanne the other night in Florida. George - I delivered your hug.
Great show. Since I am not as well versed in her music as I am in some others I can't give you a set list, but I was very impressed by all of it. The vocals were a bit tough to hear (I think a venue issue) but overall a great show. Will I get in trouble if I say she plays like a guy - amazing playing, and would someone please explain to me why guitar players all make so many crazy faces? Layla is an amazing drummer - loved her solo where she hands off her sticks and uses just her hands. The venue was getting a bit too rowdy for my companions tastes so we left before the third set. Saw a few Joe B shirts in the audience.
Here's a few pics - the lighting was mainly red so I apologize for the quality:

Kind of fun taking pictures in a small place again. Hope she makes it to New England sometime in the future - would love to see her again.

"There's a lot of people that are in so much of a hurry to be, I guess, to be famous or that they don't want to take the time to learn to play and do all that. They'd rather just knock it down off a computer and maybe get on a game show and get famous..That's fine if that's what you want to do.
