Topic: Tyler Bryant

Forgive me if I've mentioned him before.  I came across Tyler earlier this year while investigating Scott Mckeon.  Apparently they were hanging with each other in Nashville of all places.  He appears prominently in the documentary Rock Prophisies as the next guitar god, has received numerous positive reviews, appeared and played with Joe, Aerosmith and KWS, yet has only released one song (produced by Jerry Shirley).  He's playing next month in Nashville and I may have to go see him.  The Kid plays with such energy and is definitely the complete package.  Here's some vids and the trailer for Rock Prophisies.

Re: Tyler Bryant

I'm gonna keep bringing this kid up until someone takes notice.  It looks like Tyler Bryant's album will be released soon and that's a good thing cuz the boy's got serious talent.  He was reared on the blues, but his music is leaning heavily to rock.

Re: Tyler Bryant

He actually came out with an independently release BLUES cd in 2006 called Born In Texas. Very reminiscent of early Johnny Winter (IMO). He has since changed to a more rock style. The cd came out under his full name Tyler Dow Bryant. I first saw him in 2006 at the SRV memorial Concert in Texas. He did a set with Wes jeans. This would of been the year prior to the one featured in Rock Prophesies.

He came to Summerfest in 2008 doing his rock stuff opening for Davy Knowles and Buddy Guy, I know I and Roy both reveiwed that show. Great young man with lots of stage presence.

There have been several posts on Tyler on this forum in the past Curby so that may be why you didn't get a response. He's not new news here.

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

Re: Tyler Bryant

Thanks for the heads-up.  I don't recall mention of him since I joined this site and didn't know.  The stuff I've linked is recent developments (2011) with his career, not a post five years ago.

Actually Paul, it was June 30th, 2009 and here is a video that I was able to capture that day of young Tyler Bryant:

A young man with quite a bit of potential for sure!
