I had the exact same thoughts including regards to recording....two blackouts in 2 shows both at the exact same point in the setlist?????? It's a first for me It's Me! In the absence of other (recorded) proof, I'd take Warren or Joe's word it was...otherwise, I have to go with wtf???!!!
I LOVE that one and did NOT leave for restroom or anything at either show, so..... neutral  How could I miss it?!

You aren't crazy or having blackouts. It was not played at either San Diego or Vegas, I would have remembered for sure, because I love that song too. I have an hour and a half of video from San Diego and it isn't there either.

Thank you Rocket - I love this song and I adore this guitar (my Strings for a Cure necklace is made from a string used on this guitar).  I had forgotten how rich and full this guitar sounds - much better than the TJ yellow one.  Please, please let it still be in the lineup in late March!

This is what I was talking about, distortion from being RIGHT up at stage edge...vocals aren't for locals there, ok in the back, but the music, the vibe , and the SHOW cain't be beat there!

Re: San Diego, Feb. 18 Balboa Theater

Since we 'seasoned' fans love hearing Bonapatism stories, here's one from San Diego - I sent this to Patty for her enjoyment the day it happened:

Well, I had to laugh this morning after yesterday's San Diego Concert, my cousin called from San Diego - 8 am her time, 11 am East Coast time, the minute I said 'Hello,', she started  RAVING about seeing Joe at the Balboa Theatre.  Could she talk faster than Joe's acoustic playing?  Almost! She didn't stop for a breath, she went on and on in complete shock and awe - I could barely get a word in to say, "Hey!  What did I tell you?"  Her husband has been a Joe fan of CD music only, and he bought 15th row tickets for San Diego hoping she would like him, too.  She watched the RAH DVD at our house last month and I could tell she was lukewarm only... but she is a total, certifiable, out-of-her-mind, can't think of enough superlatives to describe what a Bonamanic she is today!   She is scouring the tour list trying to think of the next time they can go see him.  She thinks a Girls Trip is in order, and I can imagine how she'll recruit her friends for one, "Listen, trust me, you GOTTA see this guy, you won't believe him!"  And her friends will look at her skeptically, "Hmmm...really?"   Just like she looked at me!

So another registered case of Joe Fever!!!!  The only known cure is to see him in concert, again and again and again... and the fever intensifies over the years.  Symptoms include buying Joe mugs & T's & hats & CD's and of course, concert tickets, usually two venues nearby in a row, haunting this site, and knowing that your uninfected coworkers and friends must shake their heads when you mention Joe and behind your back they say, "Really???"

Here's how bad it got, four years ago I submitted my own headline & first two paragraphs of a story for a work newsletter when miracle of miracles, Joe played in the 500-seat concert hall at the college where I work:  http://insidemc.montgomerycollege.edu/s … hp?id=1052   And to top it off, I wrote about hearing Joe speak so up close and personally before the concert: http://www.jbonamassa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3751

Thought you new converts would enjoy this!

Still Crazy, and spreading the fever since 2006, Anne
