Topic: Tesla-Guitar Hero 6

Congratulations to Tesla for being on Guitar Hero 6.

There are so many songs from them that could be on there, but it is nice to see it will be a song from there debut.
Frankie announced it will be "Modern Day Cowboy" which is righteous!  It's great to see them get the recognition they deserve.  Even though Frankie is no. 6 he is hands down on of my number ones.  He is such an all-around great guy and so is the whole band.  They have been so supportive of Sacramento and helping with charities through-out.  It's so great that they are together.  Seeing the Scorps and Tesla was one of my all-time favorite concerts because it was with 2 of my all-time favorite bands. Not 1 bad song through the whole concert.  So here's to you Frankie, you wickedly wild freakish long-haired hippie guitar-player and my "modern day cowboy" Jeff Keith.  Congrats boys cool

You guys Kick!

Edited to add:  Frankie is one of the best ever at arranging acoustic and electric guitar into one song.  That is one of the reasons Tesla has their own sound and their songs are so brilliant tongue

"Holy Toledo"  -  Bill King   "Just Win Baby" - Al Davis  "The Autumn Wind" - Steve Sabol

Re: Tesla-Guitar Hero 6

Great song and the reason I got hooked on Tesla back in the day and still am. I remember the first time I heard Modern Day Cowboy on MTV (back when it was) and thought, holy smokes that rocks.

Funny story.......I'm up at Harlow's a few months ago to see Matt Scofield and who's in the back patio area having drinks but Brian Wheat. Well I mistaken him for Frank Hannon so much so that at one point when he walks by me I say "how's it going Frank?". Brian looks at me and says "wrong guy". So I'm thinking oh, he doesn't want to be noticed and say back to him "yeah right" and kinda giggle. He then takes out his drivers licence and shows me that he IS Brian Wheat and not Frank Hannon. Of course I was very apologetic and he tells me it happens all the time......which I think he said just to make my embarrassment go away.

Re: Tesla-Guitar Hero 6

I am a guitar hero player and I really like the song by Tesla. It actually gives you the feeling of being a rockstar because of the awesome riffs on the song. I couldn't help but repeat the song over and over till I master it. It's actually one of my favorites!

I loved your Brian Wheat story.   They are such great guys.  The Memorial is home for me.  Saw so many great concerts there.  So many stories.  Last one I saw was Trans Siberian Orchestra.  Lol, they set the fire alarms off they were so explosive!  Too Cool.

Tesla's my band, so I'm going to put up one of my all time favs from them. This song is what Rock is all about for me.
Frank with his wicked slide, Hell Yeah!  At 1:04 you will see Brian skip by with his bass.
