Re: Anaheim

11 days and counting.

New Year, New Tour, New Drummer, New Guitar Tech, New Album, New (old) Guitars (perhaps?)

Maybe a bit of a revised set list to include a few songs from the new album.  I really hope Slow Train & Dustbowl make it on the set list as they are already out and creatinga bit of a buzz

Pre-show lubrication at "The Catch" at 5:00 p.m.  Walking distance from the venue.

Ladies & Gentlemen... Joetime is near.

Re: Anaheim

1 week till Joetime!!!!  Better start limbering up folks...its gonna be a rockin good time.

Yeah Baby,  one week,  can't wait. New drummer, new songs, first show of the new tour, we're in for a good one!

Now if we can just convince Joe to play for four hours we'd be set! big_smile

Re: Anaheim

Hey guys,

New member to the forum here, front row seats just left of center for the Grove show, CAN'T WAIT !!! I heard this rumor from a very reliable source this show might be part of a warm up for BCC's summer tour in the UK.  Anyone else heard this ??

Thanks

Welcome idbmanhb.

I'll be right next to you next Thursday.  As to BCC warm up... this band ain't no warm up.  JB's solo stuff is top notch and, IMHO, superior to the BCC stuff.

How's about making your way over to the introductions threads and letting the folks on here know a little about yourself, how you came to be a fan, etc.

Thanks for the reply, it's going to rock. What I heard was that Glen and Jason might join him on stage Thursday night, not that his band was a warm up. And I agree with your BCC assessment.......

Re: Anaheim

I hope not.  Glen does sing on one of the tracks from the new album, but his voice just ain't my thing.

Well I hope that they do come out and play a song or two.

Like Glenn or not he's considered by many including JB, one of the great alltime singers.

I myself like BCC and Joe solo equally. I think they are both great for what they are. But music is like food. Whatever your taste, you can't be wrong.

Re: Anaheim

Hi new member here. I've seen Joe twice up here in Northern CA. I had planned to come to both Anaheim & San Diego shows but my son's basketball team made the finals and we had to cancel. I listed my tickets on craigslist and ticketsnow (per ticketmaster). So far I've only sold 1 ticket for the Anaheim show and have 2 left and all 3 tickets left to sell for San Diego. I'm only asking what I paid + shipping. I heard you all mention Stub Hub, would that be a better place for me to try and sell my remaining tickets? Is it ok to list them in the forum for sale area or is that just for guitars? Any help you could provide would be apreciated.

Hope I'm not 'Taking the Hit' on the tickets.

BTW my seats sound terrible compared to all of you. Come to think of it my seats at the 2 shows I went to were far away as well. Good thing it doesn't matter where you sit for Joe's shows. But how do you get the good seats? I read mention of a trick. Please share.

Perhaps list the tickets in the "Marketplace" section.  As long as you're not trying to scalp and get over on the fan base here, you'll be well received

Well folks,  I'll be at this show second row center,  we won't have Bogie, so it will be the first show with the new drummer.

Any one else going?  Any thoughts on a new drummer?

Hey Rock Farmer,
I'll be behind ya in the 7th row, my first time at the grove and my 10th Joe Show.
Knowing how the city of AnaSLIME loves to charge for EVERYTHING, how much am I going to be raped on Parking??? $10 or more?? Is there anywhere to park for free within walking distance??
Thanks

Rich -  I'm sure you'll have to pay for parking.  I pre-paid for parking when I bought my ticket so I don't know what the breakout is.  Chris (Front Row Fred) has been to the Grove many times and may be able to answer your question as to free walking distance parking.  See Ya tonight!!!
